This is the West Bay, the new financial center of Doha.

This is the interior of a uptown shopping mall known as the Villagio. It is design like Venice. It is a very nice place. The ceiling is all painted with murals of the sky. There is a Carrefore there and of course all the high end boutiques. There is a cineplex there with 8 cinemas and a ice skating rink as well as an theme and amusement park.

I am residing in Doha, Al Wakrah is a new township about 15 minutes drive from Doha. Something like home to 7th Mile Township. Dukhan is where the road project that was completed earlier. It is about 45 minutes to an hour drive. Like Home to Damai or Muara Tebas.

Doha has two areas.. The old and the new... the new is where all the sky scrapers are which is considered their new financial center and the old is mainly residential and no highrise except apartment blocks and 2 to 3 storeys shop houses. I stay in the old area as the rental are much more reasonable.
